Indy Womens Parkour Jam 2025

We’re excited to host the very first Indy Womens Parkour Jam! An awesome celebration of movement, strength, and community! This event is designed to bring together women athletes of all levels to connect, train, and empower one another through parkour.

Whether you’re brand new to parkour or an experienced practitioner, this jam is all about supporting each other, sharing skills, and building confidence in a fun and welcoming space. Expect movement challenges, skill-sharing sessions, and plenty of open training time with like-minded movers.

Come as you are, bring your energy, and let’s make history together at the first Indy Women’s Parkour Jam!

Dara will be running a Flips workshop. To help unlock the next level in style parkour!

Dara DePaolo is a parkour athlete, World Chase Tag competitor, and co-owner of NYX Training Center in Woodstock, Georgia. With a background in gymnastics, she found her passion for movement through parkour. 4th place finisher at the Parkour World Championships (SPL) in Style Parkour.

Dara will be running a Flips workshop. To help unlock the next level in style parkour!

Mel McQueen

Mel will be leading a workshop on how to apply parkour to your context. Specifically targeted at mom's using parkour to connect with your kids and find joy in playful movement.

Melissa “Mel” McQueen is a parkour athlete, coach, and community leader whose story embodies resilience. After losing all but two toes to frostbite, Mel defied expectations by embracing movement through parkour. What began as supporting her kids’ training at APEX Denver soon turned into her own journey of strength, creativity, and flow.

Now an influential voice in the U.S. parkour scene, Mel serves on the Athletes & Judges Committee for the United States Parkour Association (USPK), helping shape the future of national competitions and athlete development. Known for her positive energy, fierce determination, and gummy bears, Mel has become a role model for athletes of all ages. She has proved that limitations are only starting points for growth.
